Have arrived in Pemba after spending the night in Alto Molocue at an Aid workers compound, then at campsite at bridge to Ilha da Mozambique. Karen, Guy and Drew popped in for a visit yesterday.
Went to Ilha beach of the bay this morning. I took scooter to town to buy beers and pao. kids and Lol did archery.
Have now found out that we were not as lucky as we thought. Both the boogie board bags (think there's a photo under Morungulo blog ) were stolen when at Zimbabwe border few mornings ago. All boogie boards, skim board and sand board are gone. Mitch went onto roof to grab sand board but not there.
Insurance are not going to be happy with us when we get back. Our small waterproof camera (Charne knows the one) is also gone. Not having a good time in that regard.
Just waiting for Karen to fetch us for a tour of town and supper at their place. Aimee is really happy to have a girl friend around now and Drew is the same age. Going to their school sports day tomorrow. All can enter for fun day, so Dups are in.
